Health services manager is mainly considered as administrative and management position in the healthcare industry. Health services managers also called Medical / Healthcare Administrators, who can do planning, directing, co-ordinating and organizing the medical and healthcare services in an Organization. They can also manage an entire facility or specialize in managing a clinical area or a medical department or manage a group of medical physicians.

Health services managers are responsible for coordinationg and ensuring the smooth functioning of all the medical departments and all the healtcare systems. Health services managers can work all the divisions of an organization including personnel management, developmental goals, efficiency and quality improvement, financial management, financial planning, infrastructure development, compliance, public relations, internal communications, medical insurance providers, social workers, infections control team workers, handling patient - organizational problems, etc.

The main responsibilities of health service managers are :

1.Smooth functioning of the healthcare organization with clear coordination of all the healthcare professionals including the doctors, nurses, pharmacists, administrative staffs, and all other healthcare professiionals and non healthcare staffs (security staffs, house keeping staffs, fire safety officers, lift operators, etc) in the entire organization.

2. Work to improve efficiency and quality in helathcare services.

3. Communicate with members of all the medical and non medical staffs and department heads.

4. Helping patient access care within the limits of their insurance.

5. Creating financial budgets and plan how to implement

6. .Planning and implementing staff meetings.

7. Training selective staffs to achieve new technologies for the improvement of the organization and the healthcare industry.

8. Billing and customer care services.

9. Researching compliances

10. Case management solutions.
