Immunogen is defined as it is any antigen that is that is having capacity of inducing or producing a cell mediated immune response rather than immunological tolerance, this ability can called as immunogenicity.

The nature of immunogens have foreignness, high molecular weight and chemical complexity.

Immunogen : it is a molecule that is capacity of increasing immune response by organisms immune system.

Antigen : it is a molecule that is having capacity to binding to the product of that immune response.
