2, Aellai having a symptoms of (PCOS) polycystic ovary syndrome..It is a hormonal disorder..it affects the woman at reproductive age..High risk groups are indigenous woman..
Polycystic suggest many symptoms ,some women may not have all set of symptoms at a time..cystic is not actually cyst in the ovary,it is focused on formation of follicles which contain an egg..Girls usually get symptoms of irregular period or delay period..Acne on the face and body,loss of hair,dark skin patches and also psychological effects like depression and anxiety is common..They have low self-esteem due to their appearance..Fertility impact their mood..
a, Nurse should include the family history,because mother or sister those who have Type 2 diabetes have symptoms of PCOS..From mother easily daughter can get this disease..It is complex and involve multiple genes..Assess her sleep pattern because women with PCOS develop with the disorder of sleep apnea..Ask parents about her mood changes and activity level, diet pattern..collect the history of any thyroid disorder,tumors in her body..

-Follicle -stimulating hormone(FSH),it might be lower for girls with PCOS.
- Luteinizing hormone(LH) it might be higher for girls with PCOS.
- Testosterone (sex hormone) higher for girls with PCOS
- Estrogen level may be higher for the woman with PCOS
- sex hormone binding globulin (SHBG) lower than normal
- Androstenedione will be higher for PCOS..
-Anti-Mullerian hormone(AMH) will be higher than normal..this is for how well the ovary is working..
-Lipid profile to know the cholesterol level..PCOS at risk for hear disease.
-Glucose test. PCOS people mostly get diabetes risk.
-Insulin level,woman with PCOS have insulin resistance can lead to diabetes..

- Life style modification like limiting the processed food and adding whole grain,fruits,vegetables and lean meat in her diet helps to control her weight..
- Advice to do exercise regularly it helps lower the blood glucose, improve body's use of insulin and normal the hormone level..
-Advice to continue the medication as per doctor order..
- Advice to meet dermatologist or cosmetologist for hair treatment and skin treatment for correcting the acne,and hair loss..
