Here the triplet peak at 0.9 to 0.95 ppm corresponds to a terminal -CH3 which is attached to a -CH2 group.
The singlet peak at 1.2 ppm corresponds to the hydroxyl group, -OH.
The multiplet at 1.3 to 1.48 ppm corresponds to the rest of the -CH2 groups.
Since the general formula is C6H14O, the structure of the chemical compound is 1-Hexanol.
CH3-CH2-CH2-CH2-CH2-CH2-OH

8. The structure and proton NMR spectrum of a molecule are shown below. The molecule has letters by each location that has one or more protons. The chemical shifts of the signals in the spectrum are listed at right with Roman numerals. On your answer page write the Roman numeral of the chemical shift of each family on the line by that family's letta B. - A. sicer Fam., Chemical shift (ppm) 4.2 II 3.5 III 2.75 IV V 1.15...

An electrical firm manufactures light bulbs that have a length of life that is approximately normally distributed with a standard deviation of 35 hours. If a sample of 50 bulbs has an average life of 730 hours, find a 96% confidence interval for the population mean of all bulbs produced by this firm. Click here to view page 1 of the standard normal distribution table. Click here to view page 2 of the standard normal distribution table....
I ONLY NEED HELP WITH PART OF PART "B"
I've figured out the test statistic is -1.73 and the degrees of
freedom are 5. However, I'm having a hard time finding the P value
via the chart (which I'm required to learn how to do).I think the
chart immediately bellow this is the one used to find the p-value.
However, I know at least one (or more) of the charts bellow is
what's used. Please let me know which chart...
