Answer: Normally people should be aware of their health. They must be health conscious. But in the case of pregnant woman, they should be more alert regarding their health. They should not include alcohol or smoke.

Through the awareness programs, personal teaching one can educate the people specially pregnant woman or woman planning to get pregnant. They should be more health concerned. Not only smoking or consuming alcohol but also excessive intake of caffeinated drinks should be decrease or eliminated. Because this will affect the growth and development of the fetus inside the womb or it may cause any birth defect. Eating healthy, green vegetables, getting enough of sleep etc. are main things a pregnant woman can do. She should be hydrated as drinks much water.
