According to ohm's law, the current flowing through a conductor is directly proportional to the potential difference applied across it at constant temperature.

so we take V at x-axis and I at y-axis.

it can also define as the potential difference across a conductor is directly proportional to the current flowing throgh it at constant temperature.

where R is constant known as resistance of conductor.

I=(1/R)V

so V-I graph is straight line.
