If you've had experience using an electronic appointment book or a full-blown EHR, how has it helped you and your patients? If you haven't think about other ways in which technology has been useful to you—in school, for example, or in a job outside the medical field. How do you think a person's attitude toward technology influences that of the people they work with?

2.1) Advancement is always better . In today's scenario where everything is so digitalized and advanced , having an EHR system in a healthcare organisations is a big change . I work in a healthcare sector where EHR is already implemented . It not only helps the healthcare workers but also the patients too . It's iniative causes a lot of effort and cost but once it's implemented it's a huge progress and achievement. I use in my everyday work-life the EHR system and it's awesome to work with it as it makes my work easy , helps me for time management , helps me to provide effective patient care as i dont have to waste time on filling forms manually. Initially it would be a bit difficult but once you get the catch, you are there .

2.4) Inactive patient records are documents which are no longer referenced on a regular basis and tend to be stored in a less accessible place since they are not used frequently. Many times records become inactive when they reach their cut-off as defined on a Records Retention Schedule.

The most important reason for keeping a medical record is to provide information on a patient's care to other healthcare professionals. Another major rationale is that a well-documented medical record provides support for the physician's defense in the event of a medical malpractice action.
