The recommendation for simvastatin (Zocor) during pregnancy is not advised since Simvastatin may harm an unborn baby. It should be noted that pregnancy should not be planned during the course of this drug. We should consult a doctor for more details and discuss the use of reliable forms of birth control (such as condoms, birth control pills) while taking this medication. If you become pregnant or think you may be pregnant, tell your doctor right away. Effects of this drug if breast-feeding has not been ascertained. Because of the possible risk to the infant, breast-feeding while using this drug is not recommended. Consult your doctor before breast-feeding.

10th Answer: The antidote for Heparin is Protamine Sulfate. For the reversal of heparin overdose, protamine sulfate (1% solution) by slow infusion will neutralize heparin sodium. 50 mg of Protamine Sulfate should be given slowly in any 10 minute period. Each milligram of protamine sulfate neutralizes approximately 100 USP heparin units. The amount of protamine required decreases over time as heparin is metabolized.
