Nursing evolve in various aspect-
1.equal gender-previously only female candidate used to involve for the care of patients but in current scenario more males are involved for the nursing care.
2.dress code-initially when nursing started nurses used to wear white colour dress but now the dress code also changed it depends according to the hospital, dress colour code varies hospital to hospital.
3.advanced technology-initially nurses were not getting opportunity to involved for advance technology but now they are going through the specialisation course and handling all advanced technology with confidence.
4.higher education-initially when nursing started only diploma course was there but now there are various courses are there under the nursing program. for individual practice nurse practitioner course is there so that nurses can independently work.
5.advanced nursing practice-initially nurses used to involve in only basic care for the patient but now nurses are having various wide role. they give the basic care, they also handle the critical situation of patient, they provide the advanced care to the patient independently.
6. evidence based practice-now nursing practice is totally based on evidence based practice. evidence based practice means activities whatever activities we perform it is totally based on the research outcome for the betterment of patient. so that we can give quality of care for the patience betterment.
7.expanded & expanded role of nurse-nurses role extended from hospital to community, clinic, community mental health services, nursing practitioner etc. expanded role of nurse- ICU nurse, neuro ICU nurse, oncology nurse etc. Like this there are various roles are there for the nurses.
