Answer #1

Workplace Difficulties:

The workplace is a learning platform for every employee. In every day life they come across many conflicts, harassment, mistakes, problems with co - workers, slackers, complainers, gossipers etc.

The network members who should attend are employees and managers of all teams in company.

HR can assist in training the managers on effective conflict resolution strategies, it's not their responsibility to resolve all conflicts in workplace. HR should encourage the managers to work through conflicts with their employees on their own and only involve HR when it's absolutely necessary.

Process or strategies to resolve conflicts in workplace:

1) Detach from bias

2) Active listening

3) practice empathy

4) Focus on behavior

5) Know when to involve HR

For example, in a x company there existed a conflict between two teams who are working on mobile software and it's functioning. There was the due date to finish the work with in a span of 2 weeks due to conflicts between the employees of two teams the work of a week is delayed and the manager avoided the conflict without any consideration and reported to HR. Due to conflicts between the teams they delayed working and the project has been cancelled by the investors.

In this case the manger would have been not avoided the conflicts he would have heard about the conflicts from both the teams and by using critical thinking and knowledge skills he would have resolve the problem by his own through proper communication between the employees. Before I forming the HR department the manager would have taken intiation on his own to empathy the situation from two teams and would have resolve the problem. So that the project would have completed in time. And it would have an encouraging to the team members by the managers and it would increase the profit of the company.

workplace social, ethical and business standards:

It includes Hard working, dependability and responsibility, adaptability, positive attitude, self - motivated and strong self - confidence, professionalism, loyality, honesty..etc..

Importance of effective workplace relationship and networks available to support staff:

The workplace should have a friendly relationship between employees and managers. So that everyone can feel free to express their problems, issues etc. It also helps to resolve the problems, conflicts, issues between employees in friendly atmosphere. All the members of the team should involve in work together to fulfillthe goals in time and to improve the productivity of the company.

Managers should take an initiation in encouragement by providing the rewards, offering the team members in participation in different areas in workplace. And give some contributions to the team members based on their work skills and hard working nature, honesty and loyality, responsibility to work etc...
