Answer #1

Immigration has affected American culture in a various different ways including both positively and negatively. Some of the ways in which immigration has affected American culture are:

*Positively:

- brought the diversity in the country

- brought cheap labour in the country

- adding resources in the form of workers

- makes the country demographically youthful

- enrichment of the influence of the American culture throughout the world

*Negatively:

- over crowded nation

- many illegal works are being pulled out

- increase in the crime rate

- decrease in the work opportunities of the native Americans

The native Americans have mixed reaction to the immigrants and the cultural diversity they brought with them. Some of the group of people think that America is gaining alot of benefits from the immigration and immigrants whereas the other group thinks that the people from other country are depleting their culture and their values.
