- Assess & identify the patient- vulnerable & put ID band of vulnerable patient, safety first board.

- Secure locks on beds, stretcher, & wheel chair. Keep floors clutter/obstacle free (especially the path between bed and bathroom/commode).

Nurses should be vigilant in observing the safety of client & guide the housekeeping staff accordingly.

Place call light & frequently needed objects within patient reach.

- Keeping the call bell & Other objects within patient reach will help them to avoid exertion & preventable action for fall.
