Ans)1) During Occupied bed making:

- Bed rails should always be up when the patient is on bed.

- While tourning the patient to one side, keep side rails up when patient turn on that side & vice versa.

- Return bed in low and safe position and keep side rails up after bed making.

2) Rationale for loosening of the top linens over a patient's feet is to relieve pressure and promote comfort to the patient.
