His focus was unwavering and he believed that the products being manufactured by his company will add significant value to the lives of customers and will change the world for the better. One of the traits that helped Steve Jobs to tick was his unrelenting focus on simplicity. He believed that simplicity is the best form of sophistication and this reflected in his thoughts, his actions and also the design of his products. Lastly Steve Jobs was highly passionate and he pursued his passion in a fearless manner. This made him not only great but also endearing to a large extent.

The most important influence that shaped Job’s character was Zen Buddhism. The core of Zen Buddhism is simplicity and this became Job’s inspiration. The key beliefs of Zen Buddhism shaped Job’s work philosophy as well as life philosophy. This led him to create products at Apple that were able to create a harmony between the software and the users of the products.
