A clinical microsystems is a group of clinicians and staffs working together with a shared clinical purpose to provide care to the patients. Example of clinical microsystem is CCU , HDU etc .

- Hand washing
- Use of personal protective equipments and safe practices like no recapping of use needle , use of needle destroyers etc.
- Use of democratic leadership style by the uncharged during making decisions and teaching or training certain tasks .
- Strict monitoring of the practices of staffs by the uncharged and higher authority.
- Surveillance
- use of interpersonal therapeutic relationship with the patient's
- documentation of the care provided by the staff after the procedure is done
- demonstration of procedure rather than explaining verbally and practicing it
- holding classess or sessions on different topics or areas where staff is facing problem to provide care .
- having a good relationship and communication skills used in-between the staff
- following the policies of patient safety made by the hospital administration.
All these above mentioned points have to be practiced in the clinical areas to avoid patient injury and to have a good communication with the patients.
