e) The formula for confidence interval is

μ = M ± t(sM)

where:

M = sample mean
t = t statistic determined by confidence level and degree of freedom
sM = standard error = √(s2/n)

M = 1.499
t = 3.5
sM = √(0.0062/8) = 0

μ = M ± t(sM)
μ = 1.499 ± 3.5*0.002

99% CI [1.492, 1.506]. if this part is incorrect i believe that the answer is written in below format

μ = 1.499 ± 0.007
