1. FUNCTIONS OF GLUT : The main function of the glucose transporters GLUT is transporting of glucose to plasma membranes by diffusion method.

2. GLUT : GLUT means Glucose Transporters. Glucose is important to each and every one to get energy throughout the day. If energy is present in the body the person can perform daily activities. Glucose transporters. They are a group of protein membranes which facilitate glucose to transport across the plasma

3. DIFFERENT KINDS OF GLUTS: The different types of GLUT are as followers:

* GLUT 1 : Present in human tissues

* GLUT 2 : Present in all the tissues like liver, kidney, small intestine:

* GLUT 3 : Present in brain, placenta, testes

* GLUT 4 : This kind of carrier carries only glucose. The major site of this type 4 glucose transmitters is present in cardiac muscle,skeletal., etc

4. Glucose transporters are found in the phyla.
