3 Focus Areas of Pender's Model :-
1. Cognitive Perceptual Factors- how person perceives different aspects of their health
2. Modifying Factors- things that affect the person's perception of their health
3. Participation in health promotion behavior- likelihood of engaging in health promoting behaviors (affected by cues to action.
While I will organise the health promotion campaign for the wellness of employees ,I would totally focus on the focus areas of penders health promotion model and these people interact with the environment in their day to day life in personal and professional life .
To assess their interaction with environmental factors , I will use questionnaire to know about the perspective of health , health promotion and disease prevention . After assessing their perspective I will go ahead to find out the factors which has an impact on the perception of health . At last measures will be taken to improve the perception which are wrong about health and will engage the employees in the health promotion behaviour because when we actually do a thing then only we get to know about that so practical experience is best for new initiatives .
