Identify 3 reasons unions should support employee health promotion and also provide 3 reasons why employees may be hesitant to support workplace wellness programs.   1. Why union has to support employee?

Ans: 1) union has to support in health insurance of the employee during their probation period, Group health insurance and death reimbursement should be 100% beared by the employee. Extended health benefit for the individual and the employee should be paid by the union. Minimum 3 days to maximum 14 days of sick leave should be beard by the union,                                             2) The Company consents to make sensible provisions for the wellbeing and wellbeing of its workers amid the hours they are effectively at work.

3) The Company embraces to give each new representative, at the season of procuring the important introduction for the safe execution of work and treatment of materials and items.

2. Why employee was hesitant for wellness program?

          Ans: Eg; Employees were not concentrate on early detection of their illness

          Hospitals are great at treating disease and they are good at early detection of disease, but they don’t do much in the way of disease prevention. The total reach and impact of worksite wellness programs dwarfs all other efforts to improve the health of adults.

          Eg: Poor healthy behavior of the employee such as poor exercise, inadequate sleep & addicted to substance will lead to risky health

          The center of each great health program is conduct change. With the correct instruction, abilities, inspiration, aptitudes/apparatuses, and social help, individuals change practices. Well being programs are great at helping individuals receive and keep up solid practices.

          Eg; Poor employee productivity in work place may be due to obesity etc.

          Poor representative profitability can be characterized as physically being grinding away yet not working. This kind of poor efficiency is called presenteeism. It is evaluated that the expense related with presenteeism because of poor worker wellbeing is something like 2 to multiple times more noteworthy than direct human services costs.
