community health nurse working in public health settings like clinics,schools,disaster relief,emergency preparedness,illness etc..They act as a educator,disease and injury prevention specialist,leader,care giver for various culture and various family among  various population like infants,children,pregnant women,maternal mothers etc..They act as a researcher to collect and research evidence to make positive changes for community health..They promote healthy lifestyle among individual and provide direct care and they prevent disease and health related problems..
2, community settings:
It includes hospitals,community centers,schools,government health agencies,clinics..CHN work in different region when health care not easily accessible..They work in different culture background.they have partnership with local community and work to prevent illness and identify barrier among general population..they play a leadership role in emergency service with strong communication skills and team works to provide health care..They will work both in acute sector and community service..They will be in interdisciplinary team include the care in mental health,pediatric health,geriatric health,maternal health and general practitioner in hospital service..They focus their service on preventing health issues by immunization service and early screening service to protect people against various disease..
