Collective bargaining is a process of employees and employers to reach the goal for the rights and duties of people at work. It has issues on payment of employees, working hours, training, safety rights. It is suitable for nurses, physicians, IT employees, non-professional and professional. It helps to follow standards and involvement in the decision making process, it makes management to make confirm the contract process. but sometimes it reduces individuality, management will not be under one control. This process fails sometimes by often changing position, not willing to follow particular duties, proper action focus on only one side, rejection for any changes.
collective bargaining help for me in nursing practice to avoid harm and ensure safety practice by protecting patients. It improves interprofessional relationship help for decision making when there are issues. The nurse manager in a unionized environment interacts with us for the process of collective bargaining if there are any changes made daily. This group action help in regulating our working conditions. Our management group is stable and strong to improve this collective bargaining process. they bargain with us on an equal basis.
