HIPAA-Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act.

This act is a US law which protects the medical records of the patient's and their other medical information by providing privacy strandards.This law mainly protects patients by providing privacy and if any health care organisations are failed to follow the rules they face legal costs.It also encourages the healthcare system to go digital so that they can be able to give quality care and to share information easily.

EMTALA - The Emergency Medical Treatment and Labour Act

It is federal law which makes the patients be treated whether they may have insurance or able to pay or not when they come into Emergency department.

It is also benefits patients as they prevent the Healthcare organisation from giving treatment for their conditions.

ADA -Americans with Disabilities Act.

It is civil rights law which prohibits discrimination towards disabled people.It prohibits discrimination aganist people in all areas whether it may be in workplace,public place etc.
