1. Protonix is non competitive enzyme inhibitor, So its action persist for a long period of time. Non competitive enzyme inhibitor change the the enzyme shape and it makes difficult for the attachment of enzymes. It's action doesn't change with the increased number of enzymes. Competitive enzyme inhibitor actually competes with the enzyme due to its similar shape. It can easily attached to enzyme site but it's action may varies with the concentration of enzymes.
