African Americans and any other culture should learn the significant of their culture why it should be taught to more people because I believe the community look more into slavery than what we should be looking into is what we have accomplished in life. African American have been beaten but that's not what we just need to be focusing on. African Americans has become a strong link which is one benefit. The election of Obama has showed many people that if an African American can make it into the white house, we can make it into any walks of life we can become the next role models for the younger people from each culture. Most people don't know the people who made a lot of rights, rules and regulations that occur today because of the lack of knowledge. "A lack of contextual knowledge regarding Frederick Douglass leads me to ask how much people might know about Olaudah Equiano, Benjamin Banneker, Sojourner Truth, Reconstruction, James Weldon Johnson, The Great Migration, Emmett Till, or the many heroes of the struggle for civil rights who preceded Martin Luther king jr. Unfortunately, millions of American lack background knowledge of these people, places and events that are seminal to American history" by Darryl Lorenzo Wellington. These things that the schools should be teaching children at a young age so they can take that with them as they get older. We weren't just beaten. It's more to the struggle but through the struggle we African Americans have accomplished a lot we should collaborate and think more on it that would help a lot! of incorrect beliefs and stop a lot of misunderstandings on the lack of knowledge today,

African American begin their journey with slavery and now they are one of the largest group in the United States. Cultural integrity plays an important role in African American Accomplishment. They get into education to raise their level in the country. They obtain civil rights in schools, occupation, and housing. They created a new own path in society by eliminating the discrimination of blacks through their hard work. The presence of Obama in the white house supports race relations. Now many of the African American achieved a great place in various field. They create newfound for black culture through their lived experiences.
