Occupancy will be high if the facilities are good in that particular hospital.

Managed care organizations will be willing to contract hospitals likelihood to improve the services at Mid-city hospital.

Strategies to improve occupancy:-

  • Maintain good infrastructure of the hospital
  • Recruit adequate and competent staff as per requirement
  • Establish full pledged equipment required for comprehensive care
  • Improve the quality of services
  • Maintain trust worthy relationship with patients
  • Develop confidence to the patient to be cured in that hospital
  • Focus on goal oriented services for individual patient
  • Always be polite with patients.
  • Apply remuneration schemes like employees concessions etc.
  • Make a propaganda about hospital
