Answer #1

New Engagement: When the audit of a company is accepted by a new auditor, the same is referred as New Engagement. It involves forming new terms and conditions for the audit. The auditor should verify whether the financial reporting framework is acceptable or not. Terms and conditions should be agreed upon by both the management and the auditor.

Recurring Engagement: Audits carried out for more than one financial year are known as recurring engagements. In such a case, the auditor should assess whether there is a requirement for revision of the audit engagement terms, and if yes, the same should be reminded to the entity.
