Yes, ordinary things attract each other with the force of gravitation because every object present on earth feel gravitation. Infect we are stable due to gravity. A object can feel gravity even outside the earth surface upto 100 km and attracted by the earth . Because of the gravity our moon and earth are in stable motion.

Yes, gases in the earth atmosphere have effect of gravitational forces but we just can't see it. For example, in winter when you open the refrigerator then cold gases are slightly visible which goes slightly down to earth from upper section of refrigerator which is due to gravity.

Yes spaceship headed to mars have gravity pulling on it but it is lesser that what a spaceship feel at earth because of small mass of mars.

Gravitational forces are inversly proportional to the square of distance between two objects. As distance between two objects increases, the gravitational forces between them decreases and vice versa.
