Answer #1

3. Zn (s)+MgCL2 ------> ZnCL2+ Mg

Here in reactant side oxidation no. Of Zn is 0(zero) and Mg and CL are +2 and -1 respectively. In product side oxidation no. Of Zn is +2 and Cl is -1 and Mg is 0 (zero). Since oxidation no. Of Zn is increased it is oxidised. Again the oxidation no. Of Mg is decresed it is reduced.

4. Zn (s)+ ZnCL2 -------->ZnCL2+ Zn

Here in reactant side oxidation no. Of Zn(1) is 0(zero) and a Zn(2) and CL are +2 and -1 respectively. In product side oxidation no. Of Zn(1) is +2 and Cl is -1 and Zn (2) is 0 (zero). Since oxidation no. Of Zn(1) is increased it is oxidised. Again the oxidation no. Of Zn (2) is decresed it is reduced.

5.Zn (s) + AlCl3 ----------> ZnCL3 + Al

Here in reactant side oxidation no. Of Zn is 0(zero) and Al and CL are +3 and -1 respectively. In product side oxidation no. Of Zn is +3 and Cl is -1 and Al is 0 (zero). Since oxidation no. Of Zn is increased it is oxidised. Again the oxidation no. Of Al is decresed it is reduced.

6. Al (s)+ CaCl2 -------> AlCl2 + Ca

Here in reactant side oxidation no. Of Al is 0(zero) and Ca and CL are +2 and -1 respectively. In product side oxidation no. Of Al is +2 and Cl is -1 and Ca is 0 (zero). Since oxidation no. Of Al is increased it is oxidised. Again the oxidation no. Of Ca is decresed it is reduced.

7. Sn (s)+ CaCl2--------> Sncl2 + Ca

Here in reactant side oxidation no. Of Sn is 0(zero) and Ca and CL are +2 and -1 respectively. In product side oxidation no. Of Sn is +2 and Cl is -1 and ca is 0 (zero). Since oxidation no. Of Sn is increased it is oxidised. Again the oxidation no. Of Ca is decresed it is reduced.

8.Al (s)+MgCL2 ------> AlCl2+Mg

Here in reactant side oxidation no. Of Al is 0(zero) and Mg and CL are +2 and -1 respectively. In product side oxidation no. Of Al is +2 and Cl is -1 and Mg is 0 (zero). Since oxidation no. Of Al is increased it is oxidised. Again the oxidation no. Of Mg is decresed it is reduced.

9. Sn (s) + CuCl2------->SnCl2+cu

Here in reactant side oxidation no. Of Sn is 0(zero) and Cu and CL are +2 and -1 respectively. In product side oxidation no. Of Sn is +2 and Cl is -1 and Cu  is 0 (zero). Since oxidation no. Of Sn is increased it is oxidised. Again the oxidation no. Of Cu is decresed it is reduced.

10.Sn (s) + MgCL2 -------->SnCl2+Mg

Here in reactant side oxidation no. Of Sn is 0(zero) and Mg and CL are +2 and -1 respectively. In product side oxidation no. Of Sn is +2 and Cl is -1 and Mg is 0 (zero). Since oxidation no. Of Sn  is increased it is oxidised. Again the oxidation no. Of Mg is decresed it is reduced.

11.Al (s)+ZnCL2 -----------> AlCl2+ Zn

Here in reactant side oxidation no. Of Al is 0(zero) and Zn and CL are +2 and -1 respectively. In product side oxidation no. Of Al is +2 and Cl is -1 and Zn is 0 (zero). Since oxidation no. Of Al is increased it is oxidised. Again the oxidation no. Of Zn is decresed it is reduced.

12.Sn (s)+ ZnCl2-------> Sncl2 + Zn

Here in reactant side oxidation no. Of Sn is 0(zero) and Zn and CL are +2 and -1 respectively. In product side oxidation no. Of Sn is +2 and Cl is -1 and Zn is 0 (zero). Since oxidation no. Of Sn is increased it is oxidised. Again the oxidation no. Of Zn is decresed it is reduced.

13.Sn (s) +AlCl3 ------> Sncl3 + Al

Here in reactant side oxidation no. Of Sn is 0(zero) and Al and CL are +3 and -1 respectively. In product side oxidation no. Of Sn is +3 and Cl is -1 and Al is 0 (zero). Since oxidation no. Of Sn is increased it is oxidised. Again the oxidation no. Of Al is decresed it is reduced.
