Charges are the prices as per the internal list of the things, facilities and services in the healthcare system. For the example: Pathology charge of CBC(complete blood count) report, thyroid test charge, lipid profile charge, LFT(liver functioning test) charge etc.

Reimbursement: It is the compensation cost paid by any organization like insurance company based on the retrospective claim process on the basis of the bill produced against the medical services opted by him/her in any healthcare organization.

Example: reimbursement of the accidental insured bill

Payment: it is the total amount of money which is actually received by the hospital by producing the bill for providing the patient care. Example: physician payment or payment for specialized services.
