Hi this is a practice assignment for making a can eed help to make a careplaneast 2-3 diagnoses. A 32 years old man fell off his motorcycle a month ago. He reported pain 8 out of 10 pain level on the left leg Pain is throbbing and sharp. No allergies. He has bone Infection. Medical history no diabetic, no breathing problem. The size of the wound is 2 cm in length, 2 cm in width and 0.5cm in depth. His support system only his brother. He cant get up and cant shower. I need a careplan for the wound, or pain, infection or his mobility.

Care plan includes :

1. Assess the skin for color, texture, elasticity, and moisture.

2. monitor the patient’s white blood cell count, serum protein, and serum albumin to check immune status of patient.

3. Monitor the patient for any signs of swelling, purulent discharge or presence of pain from wound

4. Encourage patient to increase fluid intake

5. Encourage adequate rest.

6. Encourage patient to eat a balanced diet. A balanced intake of omega 3 and omega 6 fatty acids, protein, vitamins A, C and E, zinc and iron is essential in reducing risk of infection.

7. change positions frequently.

8. Teach patient how to perform procedures at home, like dressing changes

9. Apply antiseptic antimicrobial ointment as prescribed by the physician.

10. Teach patient use of wheelchair or cane while walking to aid mobility.
