Question

5. Suppose that in the last few seconds you devoted to ques tion 1 on your physics exam you earned 4 extra points, while in the last few seconds you devoted to question 2 you earned 10 extra points. You earned a total of 48 and 12 points, respectively, on the two questions, and the total time you spent on each was the same. Answer #1

We are given that the last few seconds devoted to question one and two led to having earned 4 and 10 extra points respectively. This implies that in the last few seconds question two earned 6 points more than question one, though the overall score is more in question one. So if given a chance I would re allocate my time by giving question two more time than question one because it is giving more score per second than the first one and would help maximise the score.
