Commitment to public service :

Commitment to public service is very necessary for winning public trust and confidence. It could be inspiring for others. This commitment would increase the effectiveness and efficiency of any public service. It shows the spirit of service, devotion to work, integrity and honesty, and a sense of mission and focus.

Commitment to autonomy :

Commitment to autonomy involves the ability to choose and to act according to one's will, values, and the preferences. This commitment enables us to take self decisions. Respect for autonomy is introduced in the healthcare and the patients could be allowed to make personal decisions about the healthcare services provided to them.

Commitment to lifelong learning and education :

This commitment keeps us updated with all the new changes taking place in the society. It is very important for personal development, employability, and competitiveness. This commitment allows us to implement the learning process at all ages.

Belief in the dignity and worth of each person :

We should respect the inherent dignity and worth of each person. We should stimulate each person's ability to change and to address his / her own needs. We should believe that each person has his / her own position in the society regardless of their background, situations, and ethnicity.

Yes, the majority of nurses whom i have interacted, demonstrate these values whereas only some of them lacks one or more values.
