Answer #1

The four fields contributing to health care and wellbeing for a community include,

  • Environment
  • Lifestyle
  • Inheritance
  • Access to medical care

The social determinants of health include community health, indoor and outdoor pollution, social relationships, community sanitation procedures, and cultural activities. Pollution in the public areas, communication with the infected persons, unsafe sexual activities and unhealthy lifestyles trigger certain opportunistic and communicable diseases.

The determinants of health interact in several ways, so following a single pathway cannot result in achieving perfect health. The environment in which a person lives is the most important determinant of the health or force field, this is followed by lifestyle, inheritance, and access to medical care.

Approximately 10% of premature deaths can be attributed to inadequate access to medical care. Lifestyle and behaviors are the two primary factors responsible for mature deaths. Creating awareness among the people about the lifestyles and increasing healthcare access (facilitates early diagnosis) can help in reducing premature deaths.
