Pathophysiology
The virus usually enters the body it starts to multiply in the lymph node. After this it enters the blood. Through circulatory system it reaches the liver and spleen .Innliver and spleen again the replication occurs called as secondary viremia ,This virus remains dormant in the sensory nerve ganglia and dorsal root.Reactivation of this leads to nerve damage and skin damage causing symptoms like blisters ,severe pain, fever, etc.
