development.

* In the case of a 5 year old female she belongs to the psychosocial stage of Initiative vs Guilt.

* According to Erickson children of this age are very active,manipulating things in the environment,

undertake new projects,making plans,facing new challenges.

* If she get parents support and encouragement for all of her activities it leads to a sense of pleasure

   in taking new challenges and she learn constructive ways of dealing with things and people which

   result in strengthening of initiatives of the girl.

* If she get punishments and discouragements for her actions or initiatives then she may feel guilty

   towards her actions which make a negative impact on her personality.
