Answer ; A) expressing the different subsets of gene.

Reason ; The way that cell can look as unique and specific is by means of epressing their genes. each cells have different kind of variety and potential gene type. The method of silencing will not cause the gene to express but it will decrease the expression of that gene. Hence the above mentioned option is the appropriate method by which it will be differntiated, Other option are not relavent to the actual physiological process.
