Innovation is at the core of expanding a business and aiming to make and retain more customers in the long run. It tends to give an edge to the business up and over competition so that they can actively engage themselves in activities that help them in overall growth.

Business owners today, stress on the need for new ideas to be implemented at workplace so that it leads to better innovation. Furthermore, in larger organizations it is actively required to enable lower costs and higher profits for the enterprise.

For the purpose of this case study, we have selected the company for our research to be Apple. It is an American Technological Giant which most people have encountered in one form or the other. The company offers high quality tech products to the consumers and always has been the pioneer of technological innovation.

b) Evaluate how different dimensions of innovation are adopted and its impact on business success.

Apple as a company has always tried its best to implement policies that have led to higher technological innovation and impacted its success story in a positive manner.

Further, the impact of this has been that the company has been so successful in managing and retaining its customers. Right from the launch of the first IPhone to the latest one the company has always been at the pioneer of technological development and overall user experience.

This is one of the main reasons that even when the products which the company offers such as the MacBook, IPad or IPhone among its line of products get sold even when they are priced relatively higher.

Apple has always led the market with constant upgradation of its models and always tries to bring in new technology to the industry. The biggest example is that of Siri which is a voice enabled assistant and has helped apple in becoming the giant that it is today. Other innovations include its collaboration with Nike in the form of Nike + fitness app which is enabled in smartwatches to name a few.

The dimensions of technological innovation and superior customer service has helped the company in retaining its customers in a better way and manner respectively.

c) What factors depend on the successful implementation of the innovation?

The key factors which depend on the successful implementation of the innovation is the customer experience that the company offers to the consumers backed by the higher brand value and technological ease with which they can be passed on to the consumer respectively.

All these set in right combination is the reason for mass success of the organization. The company has heavily seen mass growth and development because of the fact, that the company’s brand name has always given superior value to the end customer.

Further, the overall customer satisfaction and higher capital availability of capital resources have been key reasons for successful implementation of any innovation which the company has presented.
