I work for a non-profit organization that is trying to solve the problem of quality of education in the government schools in developing countries. We all know that low quality of education in government schools is one of the biggest reasons why the level of education if struggling in the developing economies.

Since the large portion of population in such countries is made up of poor people who can't afford to get their kids admissions in private schools, they are left with no option but to accept the harsh reality of government run schools. Low quality of education hampers the progress of kids of such families, resulting in continuing poverty struggle for the poor.

How is my organization attempting to address this need?

It is a no brainer that a large part of good education is dependent on the quality of teachers. One of the biggest problems with government schools is lack of motivated, and trained teachers. My organization understands that if we can provide quality teachers to the government schools, than irresepctive of poor infrastructure and laggard systems, the students can learn and grow.

For this reason, my NGO finds highly educated people with experience in corporates and industry who are looking to be part of this noble initiative. These individuals are hired as teachers, trained and provided to government schools at free of cost to the schools. The salaries of these teachers are provided by the NGO from the funds raised by it. Since, government doesn't have to pay salaries to these teachers, they generally have no problem in accepting them for help.

When experienced and highly educated trained professionals are placed and teachers and given the responsibility to teach poor kids, the results can be great and that's what my NGO has seen since it began doing this work.

In less than a decade since its inceptions, my NGO is now providing teachers to tens of thousands of schools in developing countries and thus impacting lives of hundreds of thousand of poor kids in the process.

Off course, this is a non-profit initiative and is funded by the donations received by the NGO. They are driven by the need to improve quality of education for poor as opposed to profit.
