Wal Mart supply chain management should be given the maximum contribution for its success. Wal Mart supply chain management is the most efficient supply chain management in the world. Wal Mart is able to maintain 100% merchandise in their stores as they directly working their manufacturers as result of this alliance they are able to lower cost and manage their supply chain efficiently.

Wal Mart always make dealing with suppliers who are able to meet the demand and supply the product on time efficiently Without any delay. The major portion of their collaboration with suppliers is that they got good communication and relationship with their suppliers. Supplier will first deliver the product to the Wal Mart dostrdistrib centres and from there the product will be shifted to stores. Wal Mart got a research team which will help them develop technology that will be track their inventory . Their logistics strategy also been successful because of technology.

Wal Mart is using a technology which will scan the numerical codes and track the merchandise movement. Even in stores they have scanners which tells which item should be restocked on shelves.
