1. ASA is the medication used as a pain killer for minimizing pain and also to reduce fever. But in this case the patient is thanking ASA because she is a known case of having heart attack 7 months back hence to prevent the reoccurance a small dose is being administered to her.

2. Atrovastatin is mainly used for reducing the bad cholesterol and increasing the good cholesterol. In this case the patient is adviced to take atrovastatin because the patient has heart disease, hypertension , smoker etc hence inorder to decrease the risk of getting another attack of MI or stroke the patient is adviced on taking atrovastatin.
