ID - Intradermal - This route of drug administration is done by injecting through the superficial layer of the skin at an angle of 10 to 15 degrees and a very small amount of 0.2 ml can be administered through this route.

IP - Intraperitoneal - The drugs are administered through the peritoneal cavity of the abdomen. This route is selected to administer a large amount of fluid and faster absorption

IA - Intra-arterial - The drug is administered directly into the artery. This route is used to break the thrombus or in an emergency condition.
