Time:8 hours

Drop factor:15gtt/ml

Flow rate =Total volume ×drop factor÷total time×60

=850×15÷8×60

=26.5 that is 27gtt/min

Ans:27gtt/min

12.Given

Order:Acetaminophen

Dose:7.5mg/kg

Weight:35lb (35×0.454=15.8 or 16 kg)

As 1kg=7.5mg

Then 16kg=??mg

Cross multiply and divide

=16×7.5÷1

=120mg

Ans:120mg to be administered

13.Given

Fuel consumption :23.3 miles/gal

23.3 miles=37.4km

1 gal=88.2litre

To calculate the fuel consumption divide total litre÷distance

=88.2÷37.4

=2.35L
