The event increases consumption in 2021 and increases GDP in 2020.

Explanation: The car was produced in 2020 and sold in 2021. So, the value of the car would be included in the GDP in 2020 as inventory investment. Also, since the sale i.e. consumption happens in 2021, consumption increases in 2021.
