Answer #1

Let

q_1 = +6 imes 10^{-6}C,q_2 = +5 imes 10^{-6}C

Test charge   g +4 × 10-6C

Distance between q1 and q2 = 18cm or 0.18m

Coulomb's force between two charges is given by

Kq1q2

Now,

The force between q1 and q is

9 × 1046 × 10-0)(4 x 10-0) 0.09)2

F1 = 26.67N Replusive force (Towards right direction)

similarly

10-6) 10-6)(5 0.09)2 9 109(4

which gives us

F22.22N Towards left side

Therefore the net force is

F_{Net} = F_1 - F_2

FNet = 26.67-22.22

Pyet 4.45N Towards Right side or away from charge q1
