Answer: The vulnerable population in this community is the African American. These people belongs to the group which has different beliefs and cultural values. The resources provided such as imparting knowledge, creating awareness among this population can reduce the health risk. This category of population are at high risk of cardiovascular disease and stroke. Women are suffering from obesity. To reduce the risk of disease various programs can be implemented, campaign etc. The healthcare organizations should provide cultural competence environment to make patient feel comfortable to discuss their problems.

Although healthcare organizations working to implement various programs for this group, due to major differences in their cultural values there is gap in services. Their belief such as they mostly depends upon the alternative medicine or other treatment. This cause them to face more problem because sometimes things or disease becomes more adverse to treat.
