Gaster + itis, Prefix : Gaster = Stomach

Suffix : itis = Inflammation

Gastro - Root word.

2. Angiography: Visualization of blood vessels

Angio + graphy = Prefix : Angio = pertaining to blood vessels

Suffix : graphy= visualization

Anglo = Root word.

3. Colostomy

Colon + Ostomy = opening of the colon

Root word: Colon - Large intestine

4. Antepartum = Before labour

Ante + partum (prefix+suffix)

Root word : Ante = Before

5. Hysterectomy

Removal of uterus

Hyster + Ectomy (prefix + suffix)

Root word : Hyster = Uterus.
