1.Some of the special consideration required regarding the physical examination with this age group are

  • Assessing for any sports injury
  • Vison examination
  • Assess for any substance abuse (alcohol,cigarettes, e-cigarette)
  • Mental status examination for any violent behavior ,antisocial behavior
  • Rash driving
  • Sexual transmitted disease, any relationship
  • Assessing for spine curvature
  • Assessing for any overeating or under eating ,obesity can occur
  • Vitals :Blood pressure,cholesterol
  • Puberty development

2.Eating:Over eating or under eating

Physical activity :regular exercise to be encouraged to prevent obesity

Habits:tobacco, alcohol, smoking can happen because of perr pressure

Sexual activity: orientation to opposite gender is high during this period

3.Safety assessment which has to be included are

  • Assess for the usage of any weapons due to exposure
  • Influence of any wrongful persons like abuser
