Answer #1

Polish people who borrowed their mortgages in Swiss francs "were not affected when the Swiss National bank dropped its peg against the euro"- Option B would be the correct answer.

The same can be explained as when the Polish people who borrowed money in Swiss francs entered into fixed contract wherein the rate at which the interest and other mortgaged payments would be done was fixed (peg) so therefore any further change in the rates would neither better of/worse off them as they are liable to pay the amount at contracted rates only.
