It is not compulasry that always the research should provide positive results. it can give negative results also. there are descriptive researches also that just describe something.Example: a descriptive study to assess the pattern of foot care among patients diagnosed with diabetes mellitus.
Evidence based practice is any practice that is proved scientifically. Evidence based projects are intended to get any evidence based results. example: recently a research proved that fish scales can be used in patients with burns which promotes healing of the burns.
Nurses must be interested in evidence based projects because as they are working in the health care field where new diseases are emerged frequently they must be updated with the recent best practice. also nurses are the peoples who can identify the problems faced by the patients and can conduct a research to solve this problem.
