Question

Can anyone help me solve this problem? thank you so much

Graphical Questions (16 points) You are given a Demand function for beer Qb- 40-5Pb+5Pw + where Qb $10 and starting income is $120. .5Y quantity of beer, Pb price of beer, Pw price of wine, and Y income. The starting price of wine is Graph 1. Calculate the levels and included in the intercept. Write out that equation. simple linear demand for Q as a function of P, assuming income and price of wine are fixed at the above Draw a graph with P Label the correct intercepts for both price and quantity. b on the Vertical Axis and Qb on the Horizontal axis to depict the starting demand function for Beer. Now increase the price of wine (Pw) to $20. That will shift your intercepts. Write out the new equation.NOW Add the new Demand function with all new intercepts to the graph above. Is wine complementary to beer? Graph 2. Re-Draw a graph to depict the original starting demand function for Beer. Leave Pw- $10 for this graph. Again label the intercepts. Now decrease income (Y) to $60. Again that will shift your intercepts. Write out that equation. Add the new Demand function to the graph above. Is beer a normal good?

Demand and Sunnly and Modeling Competitive Markets (0 points) One of the more useful applications of an elasticity is the ability to determine supply and dema ply and demand curves using the elasticity and one other point along the demand or supply curve, usually the equilibrium point. This property of elasticities makes them very useful in constructing economic models, because we usually...
